At least six people were killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between a microbus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Gowainghat upazila of Sylhet district on Thursday (July 20) morning.

Hillol Roy, officer-in-charge of Companiganj Police Station confirmed the matter. 

The accident occurred on Sylhet-Bholagnj road at Salutikor area at around 9:00am.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.
