Another Bangladeshi has been shot dead during a grocery store robbery in the United States, just five days after a 23-year-old Bangladeshi man was shot at a gas station.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Abul Hashim, 42, a native of Cumilla’s Burichang Upazila.
The incident took place on Sunday morning in the Casa Grande area near Phoenix, Arizona.
According to US police, Hashim owned a grocery store at Sunland Jean Road and West Concordia Drive in Casa Grande. On the day of the incident, some miscreants entered the shop with the intention of robbing. At one stage they shot Hashim.
On information, police went to the shop and found Hashim's body on the floor. Within three hours of the incident, law enforcers arrested a suspect in the murder.
Abul Hashim settled in Arizona with his wife and two children. All seven of his siblings live in the same city.
On July 18, Md Iajuddin Romim was shot dead by miscreants in Missouri state in the US.
It was primarily believed that the motive behind the crime was to rob the victim's car and cash.
