150 BNP men sued for torching bus in Uttara

A case was filed against 150 BNP men for their alleged involvement in torching a bus in the capital's Uttara on Saturday.

Eagle Paribahan's manager Biplob Adhikari filed the case with the Uttara West police station on Tuesday (Aug 1).

According to Biplob, around 100-150 men of BNP and its affiliated organisations torched a bus of Eagle Paribahan on Saturday (29 July).

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Media and Public Relations Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Farooq Hossain confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Earlier, on Saturday night, miscreants set fire to an empty bus parked by a road in the capital's Uttara area.

Two firefighting units rushed to the spot around 9:50pm and doused the fire, according to fire service officials.
