The government on Monday (August 7) decided to change the name 'Digital Security Act' to 'Cyber Security Act' with some necessary amendments.

The decision was taken in the regular meeting of the cabinet with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

The Cabinet has given approval to the draft law to amend DSA. It will be changed by the name 'Cyber Security Act-2023'.
