The metro rail services resumed after over two hours of suspension due to a technical glitch in the overhead electric lines. 

The service resumed at 11:40am, said Iftikhar Hossain, general manager (operations) of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd. 

Earlier today, the operations of the metro rail service halted due to a technical problem with the overhead electric lines.

The service suspended in the capital’s Uttara-Aagargaon route since 9:30am this morning.
