Four people received burn injuries at a house due to an explosion, while two more were injured in Fatullah of Narayanganj.

The injured are identified as Sabuj Khandakar, the owner of Hossiari Factory in Hussein Nagar, garment worker Rana Mia, his wife Bithi Aktar, and their child, and a fruit trader Abu Kalam.  Besides, another one has received primary medical treatment.

The incident happened at about 12 midnight on Saturday on the fifth floor of a five-storey building.

Of the six, four sustained burn injuries. Two are in critical condition. All of them were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) from Narayanganj General Hospital.

Fakhruddin, the Deputy Director of Narayanganj Fire Service, said that due to the explosion, the walls of a five-story building collapsed and fell down, breaking into the adjacent house's partially constructed room along with the utensils.
