A man was killed allegedly by his daughter at Dehati village of Jibannagar upazila of Chuadanga on Saturday (August 26) morning.

The deceased was identified as Matiar Rahman Moti, 52, son of Golam Hosen of Dehati village of Jibannagar upazila.

Police arrested victim's Moyna Khatun, 25 and wife Taslima Khatun, 40. 

According to locals, the incident this morning.  They found the throat-slit body of Motiar lying on the bed of his room and informed police.

The family members, earlier, claimed that Matiar died by cutting his throat with a ceiling fan.

In primary interrogation, Moina confessed that her father tried to have illicit relations with her on Friday night. Out of anger, she killed her father by slitting his throat while he was sleeping in his room.

Additional superintendent of police in Chuadanga Zakia Sultana said the body has been sent to the Chuadanga Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
