US Ambassador to Bangladesh Petar Haas has paid a courtesy call on Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Khandaker Golam Faruk.

The meeting was held at DMP headquarters on Wednesday (August 30) morning.

According to DMP sources, during the meeting, various issues were discussed, including recent militant operations and arrests and law and order in the capital.

The officials expressed hope that the friendship and mutual cooperation between the two countries will increase in the future.

At that time, senior officials of DMP and related officials of the US Embassy in Dhaka were present.
