French President Emmanuel Macron is likely to visit Bangladesh on September 11 after the G20 Leaders Summit next month.

However, there is no official announcement regarding the visit.

Foreign minister AK Abdul Momen on Wednesday (August 30) said that the President of France has been invited to visit Bangladesh and if he comes, Bangladesh will welcome him.

He, however, did not want to mention the exact date of his arrival in Dhaka. "We are working on this."
