The by-election to the Natore-4 constituency, which fell vacant after the death of lawmaker Prof Abdul Quddus will be held on October 11, announced Election Commission (EC) on Thursday (September 7).

Jahangir Alam, secretary of the Election Commission Secretariat, confirmed the matter while talking to reporters this afternoon.

He said that the last date for filing nomination papers for the by-election is September 17.

Nomination papers will be examined on September 18. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is June 25.

The election will be held in the seat vacated after the death of Natore-4 seat lawmaker on August 30.
