A fire that broke out at the Mohammadpur Krishi Market in the capital early Thursday (September 14) was brought under control after nearly six hours.
Shahjahan Sikder, deputy assistant director of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters media cell, confirmed the matter.
He said that the fire broke out at 3:43 am on Thursday night and was brought under control at 9:25am today.
A total of 17 fire service units brought the fire under control. They were joined by special teams from the Army, Navy and Air Force.
