A fire that broke out at Sena Kalyan Bhaban in Motijheel of the capital on Monday (September 18) night was brought under control.
The officer in charge of the fire service headquarters, Rafi Al Farooq, confirmed the matter at 9:40 pm.
He said that four firefighters unit were worked hard to douse the fire.
No casualties was reported in the fire, he added.
According to the media cell at Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD), the fire originated from 7th floor of the building.
On information, the fire service team was informed regarding the blaze was at 8:55pm. Being informed, the first unit of firefighters rushed the spot and began working to bring the fire under control at 9:09pm.
