Habibur Rahman made DMP commissioner  

Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) Habibur Rahman has been made the commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.

Public Security Division of Home Ministry issued a circular in this regard on Wednesday (September 20). 

Habibur Rahman, now the chief of Tourist Police, will take the charge after current DMP Commission Khandker Golam Faruq will go on retirement on October 2.
