Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman will visit Bangladesh next year, ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bangladesh Essa Youssef Essa Al Duhailan said.

He came up with this information on Tuesday at a reception ceremony on Saudi Arabia's 93rd National Day.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has invited the Saudi Crown Prince to visit Bangladesh.

Accepting her invitation, Riyadh confirmed that the prince will visit next year, ambassador Duhailan said.

The Crown Prince has considered  next year suitable time for Bangladesh visit in the aftermath of general elections.

Earlier, Saudi Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz visited Dhaka in 1985.

The envoy praised Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for creating an investment environment in Bangladesh. It is also observed that the presence of Saudi companies has increased remarkably in Bangladesh. Relationship between two countries has also been intensified, he said.
