DHAKA: Ruling Awami League joint general secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif categorically said that if Pakistan government doesn’t withdraw the condemn resolution passed at its national assembly, steps will be taken internationally.

He came up with the assertion while addressing a program against blockade arranged by Sromik League at capital’s Karwan Bazar on Wednesday.

He also urged Pakistan to withdraw the condemn resolution passed at national assembly against hanging of Jamaat-i-Islami Bangladesh leader Abdul Quader Mollah for his ‘loyalty’ with Pakistan during the events of 1971.

Hanif said that if Pakistan wants to save war criminals of 1971, they can take those to their country.

Indicating opposition party the Awami League leader said that BNP-Jamaat is trying to save war criminals. If they continue such support to save war criminal, they have to face dire consequences.
