DHAKA: A person was killed and 10 others were injured in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a truck on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Dhamrai upazila of the district on Friday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said that a Dhaka-bound passenger bus collided head-on with a truck in the area at around 6:00am, leaving one dead on the spot and ten others injured.

Confirming the matter Dhamrai Thana Officer-in-Charge Abdur Rashid told banglanews, “The injured were sent to various hospitals.”
