Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9am today (October 30).
According to the Met office bulletin, day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
It also predicted that the dry weather is likely to continue.
Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 34.0 degrees Celsius jointly at Sitakunda and Netrokona, and today's minimum temperature 16.2degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.
However, no rainfall was traced anywhere across the country in the last 24 hours till 6am today.
The sun sets at 05.21 pm today and rises at 06:03 am tomorrow in the capital.
