The registration process for the holy Hajj next year under both government and private management agencies began from today (November 15).

The registration will be continued till December 10, according to a circular issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The official cost for the general package to perform the hajj next year has been fixed at Tk 589,800.

The holy Hajj is scheduled to be held on June 16 next year, depending on moon sighting.

A total of 127,198 individuals from Bangladesh will be eligible to perform Hajj in 2024, as per the earlier announcements from the Ministry of Religion.

Among them, 10,198 slots are allocated to government agencies, while 101,700 slots are reserved for private agencies.

The registered persons will have to deposit fees by December 10 in the selected banks. The details regarding this will be available on the hajj website under the religious affairs ministry.
