RAJBARI: Ferry service on Daulatia-Paturia water way was halted for three and half hours due to dense fog on Friday morning.

Meanwhile, vehicle-laden five ferries stuck in the mid of Padma River.

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Paturia Ghat Manager Bidyut Kumar Saha told banglanews, “Four Ro-Ro ferries anchored in the river due to heavy fog.”

Some nine Ro-Ro ferries and one K-type ferry run on the routes.

The ferry services resumed at 09:30am after visibility returns.
