Aluminum factory catches fire in Keraniganj

A fire broke out at an aluminum foil packaging factory at Dhaleshwary area in Keraniganj of Dhaka on Friday (December 15) evening.

On information, eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and started working to douse the flames.

Fire Service and Civil Defense Directorate Media Officer Shajahan Sikder confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

He said that the fire broke out at the factory near Dhaleshwary Bridge-1 on the embankment road.

The fire service got informed of the incident at 6:37pm, he said, adding no causalities were reported till now.
