The Western Railway authorities decided to suspend Dhallachar and Benapole Express train services for two days -- Saturday and Sunday -- keeping in mind the safety of the passengers.
After the Benapole Express train fire incident, the train movement in the western region will remain suspended for two days according to the Facebook page of Bangladesh Railway Western Region General Manager.
The news was posted to the Facebook page at 12:45am on Saturday.
Meanwhile, four people were killed after miscreants set fire on the Benapole Express in the capital's Gopibag area around 9:05pm on Friday. The train was en route to Dhaka, carrying passengers from Benapole.
Eight, including two children, are currently undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
