The country today witnessed turnout of 27.15 percent voters in seven hours since the starting of the nationwide voting at 8 am, Election Commission officials said.

"Some 27.15 percent votes were casted in seven hours after the polling began in the morning," Election Commission Secretary Mohammad Jahangir Alam told reporters at a press conference held at the Election Commission's media centre today.
