DHAKA: An army personal was crushed under train wheels in capital’s Banani area on Wednesday night.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Mannan, 32, hailed from Saturia of Manikganj district.

Confirming the matter Dhaka Railway Thana Officer-in-Charge Abdul Majid told banglanews, “A train knocked the victim at around 10:30pm as he was talking with someone over his mobile phone standing on rail track.”

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue, he added.
