NARAYANGANJ: At least five people were injured as blockaders hurled petrol bomb at human hauler, vandalized few vehicles and also torched a truck in Pathantuly area under Siddirganj upazila of the district on Friday morning.

Sources said that 18-party activists brought out a procession in support of blockade on Narayanganj-Adamjee-Demra road at around 9:00am.

Later blockaders barricaded the road putting electrical pillar. At that time, they vandalized a human hauler and later threw petrol bomb, leaving five people injured.

Besides, blockaders set fire to a truck, some festoons and banners and fled the scene. Locals and fire fighters doused the fire.
