SIRAJGANJ: Three people were killed and another three injured in a road accident at the west side link road of Bangabandhu Bridge under Kamarkhand upazila of the district on Friday night.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said a rashly driven goods laden truck collided head on with another truck in the area around 8:45pm, leaving three dead on the spot and three others injured critically.

The injured were rushed to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital.

Officer-in-Charge of Bangababdhu Bridge Thana (West) ATM Aminul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
