Another unexploded mortar shell was recovered from a paddy field in Ghundhum union of Naikhongchhari upazila in Bandarban on Saturday (February 10) morning.
The mortar shell was found a 6:30am today by a resident of Paschimkul, Halima Begum, in her vegetable patch.
Earlier on February 9, a mortar shell had been found in a paddy field in the same area.
Besides, another mortar shell had been found on Thursday afternoon in a marsh at Nayapara, Ghumdhum.
Later, the mortar shell found at Nayapara has been defused.
Earlier on last week, gunfire and mortar shells also landed on Bangladesh territory hitting several houses, and killing two Bangladeshis.
More than 300 members of Myanmar border guards have taken shelter to Bangladesh.
