MADARIPUR:  Road mishap killed two people early hours Friday at Karnopara on Faridpur-Barisal highway of the district.

Kalkini police station’s sub-inspector Saidur Zaman told banglaews24.com.bd that a Narayanganj-bound truck hit a roadside tree near Karnopara leaving its driver and the helper killed on the spot.

“Detail identity of the truck driver aged about 40, and his helper, aged about 37, could not be know immediately,” Zaman said.
 
Police recovered the body and sent to Madaripur Sadar Hospital Morgue.

An UD (unnatural death) case was filed with Kalkini thana.
