Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday (March 21) greeted Vladimir Putin on his re-election as the President of Russia.
The election results were officially made public by the Russian Central Election Commission at 11:00am (local time) and 2:00pm.
Vladimir Putin received 87.28% of votes, the highest ever result in Russia's post-Soviet history,
On the other had, Communist Party's Nikolay Kharitonov got 4.31% vote, the New People party's Vladislav Davankov secured 3.85%, Liberal Democratic Party of Russia's Leonid Slutsky 3.20% in the presidential election, said Russian Central Election Commission chief Ella Pamfilova.
