Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has cut down the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders by Tk 30 to Tk 1,363 per 12 kg.

The new price rate will come into effect from 6:00pm today (June 3). 

BERC chairman Nurul Amin announced this in a press conference this afternoon.

However, BERC has fixed the retail price of LPG at Tk 113.55 per kg. 

Therefore, the price of cylinders weighing 5.5, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 45 kg has reduced.
