PM greets Bangladesh team on victory over Sri Lanka

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today (June 8) congratulated the Bangladesh cricket team for their victory against Sri Lanka in their first match at the ICC T20 World Cup.

Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by two wickets in their Group D encounter at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, USA.

Leg-spinner Rishad Hossain ended with 3-22 as Sri Lanka were restricted to 124-9, and then Towhid Hridoy smashed four sixes in his 40 from 20 balls as the Tigers reached the target with an over to spare.
