The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has transferred its first secretary (taxes, legal, and enforcement) Quazi Abu Mahmud Faisal to the Taxes Zone, Bogura.
His transfer order was issued only days after he was accused of amassing illegal wealth worth Tk1,000 crore.
A letter signed by Md Shahiduzzaman, first secretary of the Tax Administration Department of the NBR, made this disclosure on Sunday.
