A man was killed as a bus hit his bicycle in Assasuni upazila of Satkhira on Sunday (July 14).

The deceased was identified as Rezaul Sana, 60, hailed from Adalotpur village of the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Assasuni Police Station Biswajit Kumar Adhikari confirmed the matter.

He said the accident occurred around 10:30 am in Amtolar Mor area of the upazila when a bus hit a bicycle, leaving its rider injured.

Injured Rezaul was sent to Assasuni Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor declared him dead, he added.
