Bangladesh Army has made changes in some of its top positions. A press release from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the matter on Tuesday.
The press release said Major General Ziaul Ahsan has been relieved from his position.
While Lieutenant General Md Saiful Alam has been assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lieutenant General Md Mozibur Rahman has been appointed as the GOC of the Army Training and Doctrine Command, Lieutenant General Ahmad Tabrej Shams Chowdhury has been appointed as the Quartermaster General of the Army, Lieutenant General Mizanur Rahman Shamim has been appointed as the Chief of General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Mohammad Shahinul Haque has been appointed as the Commandant of NDC, and Major General ASM Ridwanur Rahman has been appointed to NTMC.
