Justice division officers-staff must submit income statements in 10 days

The officers and employees of the justice division must submit their income statements within the next 10 days, said law adviser Asif Nazrul.

The law adviser said this to reporters at a press conference held at the secretariat on Wednesday.

He also said: "All harassing cases field in Dhaka till August 5 centering the Quota Reform Movement, will be withdrawn by Thursday. And the cases like this filed across the country, will be withdrawn by August 31."
 
Asif Nazrul said the interim government has decided to try the killings that occurred during the recent student protests in the International Crimes Tribunal. 

Efforts are also underway to investigate these incidents under the supervision of the United Nations (UN). Those involved in the killings, including the persons in the highest positions, will face trial, he added.

He also assured that harassment cases filed against protesters in Dhaka between 1 July and 5 August will be withdrawn by Thursday (15 August). 

Cases filed across the country against protesters are expected to be withdrawn by 31 August, he added.

The cases filed against journalist Rozina Islam and Nagorik Oikya President Mahmudur Rahman Manna will also be withdrawn, the adviser added.
