73 police officers promoted to DIGs

The home ministry’s Public Security Division on Sunday issued an order for promoting 73 additional deputy inspector generals to the ranks of deputy inspector generals.

Sixty-three of the officers have been promoted as supernumerary.

Deputy Secretary Md Mahabubur Rahman Sheikh signed on the two notifications issued in this regard on orders from President Mohammed Shahabuddin.
