Stéphane Dujarric, spokesperson to the UN Secretary General today (August 22) said assuring safety and security of a journalist in any part of the globe is important especially nations those passing crisis moment. 

He made the remark at a press briefing in New York of United States of America.

In the briefing a journalist said the offices of East West Media Group newspapers were attacked and vandalized last Monday afternoon. Journalists are suffering from insecurity as the miscreants have not yet been arrested.

Later, he sought a remark from Stéphane Dujarric regarding this attack.

In response Stéphane Dujarric said, 'Journalists should be allowed to do their job. Those who act violently against journalists should be held accountable. This is very important.'
