GAZIPUR: At least four devotees died due to cold related diseases and accident in Tongi Biswa Ijtema at Gazipur from Thursday night to Friday morning.
Three of the deceased were identified as Hedayet Ullah, 70 and Nure Alam, 65, hailed from Noakhali Sadar, Tozammel Sarkar, 72, hailed from Magura.
Hedayet Ullah died in an accident while three others died due to cold related deceases.
Officer-in-Charge of Tongi Thana Ismail Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
