Mohammad Zainal Abedin Mazumder, father of the Daily Sun's graphics in-charge Md Delwar Hossain, passed away early Tuesday.

He breathed his last at around 3:45 am at his residence at Ramavallavpur area of Lalmai upazila in Cumilla. He was 95, family sources said.

Zainal Abedin left behind four sons and one daughter to mourn his death.

His funeral prayer (Janazah) will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday at Konokshree School Field near his residence.

The colleagues of Delwar expressed profound shock at the death of his father.
