Amer Makki, a young soul from Chhagalnaiya of Feni, devotes himself to social works, including rescue activities for flood victims.

He comes forward at times of disaster or crisis with a group of friends. With his passion for social works, Amer Makki becomes a familiar face in Feni.

Makki, a member of Bashundhara Shuvosangho, has shown his excellence in social activities in the recent flood in Feni. After rescuing his family members, Makki devoted himself to supporting flood victims.

He cooks and distributes khichuri under the Mohipal flyover on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway with his friends. He also distributed food in the flood-affected area of Noakhali.

“I like to do these things. Many people help me with this work. I will continue to work for the people throughout my life,” Makki said.
