US Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu arrived in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon following his visit to India.

A flight of IndiGo carrying the US assistant secretary landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 3:20pm.

Assistant Secretary for International Finance at the US Department of the Treasury Brent Neiman, US Embassy Dhaka chargé d'affaires Helen LaFave, and Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General (North America Wing) Khandker Masudul Alam welcomed Donald Lu at the airport.

Earlier this morning, Brent Neiman arrived in Dhaka to lead a US delegation to discuss issues pertaining to bilateral relations.
