The Religious Affairs Ministry has said the government is determined to take legal action against the culprits involved in the clash and vandalism inside Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.

According to a press release, the conflict and vandalism took place inside the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque during Jumu'ah prayers today (September 21).

Such an attack inside the national mosque is unexpected and it is a heinous crime, it said, adding that stern legal action will be taken against the culprits through proper investigation.
