BHOLA: Sea robbers abducted seven fishermen along with fishes and trawlers near to Char Mozammel in the Meghna River under Tazumuddin upazila of the district early Friday.

Of the victims, three were identified as Matin, 32, Jahangir, 40 and Safique.

Sources said that a gang of sea robbers’ attacked the fishermen around 4:00am while they were fishing in the area and looted their fishes.

Meanwhile, after being protested by the fishermen, the robbers beat them up and abducted seven fishermen.

Tazumuddin Thana Officer-in-Charge confirmed the matter to banglanews.
