10 officials of Bangladesh visit India to attend ITEC training

Ten officials from Bangladesh Land Port Authority have travelled to India to participate in a training programme organized under ITEC by the Land Port Authority of India (LPAI) from 21 to 25 October in New Delhi.  

The Programme titled “Engineering Excellence: From Blueprint to Border” will focus on master planning of smart, green and resilient land ports. 

The inaugural session of training programme was successfully held today (Oct 21). 

The event was honoured by the presence of Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Secretary (Border Management), GoI & Shri Aditya Mishra, Chairman, LPAI. In collaboration with School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, the programme brings together 27 participants from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, SriLanka, & India. Out of these 27 participants, 10 participants are from Bangladesh. 

This diverse group will dive deep into engineering solutions & cross-border infrastructure management, fostering regional cooperation & expertise sharing.

⁠Prior to departure of the officials to India, Deputy High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, Shri Pawan Badhe interacted with the officials from Bangladesh Land Port Authority at the High Commission of India, Dhaka yesterday.
