Fire at Mirpur slum

DHAKA: A fire broke out at slum in Mirpur section-1 in the capital on Tuesday noon.

The fire originated at a shanty from an electric short circuit around 12:30pm and soon engulfed adjacent ones said a spot account.

On information, six fire fighting units rushed to the spot and trying to bring the fire under control.

Fire Service control room duty officer Nilufer Yesmin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
