At least three people were injured when a private car ran over several pedestrians in front of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport’s third terminal.

The incident took place on Sunday (Oct 27) around noon.

Airport Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ershad Ahmed said that a moving private car lost control due to a tire burst, veering onto the roadside where it struck multiple pedestrians. 

"We've received information that three people sustained injuries in the accident," he said.

A video circulating on social media shows the car speeding from behind, hitting several pedestrians. The identities of the injured are yet to be confirmed.
