NARAYANGANJ: A passenger was killed and five more injured in a head-on-collision between an auto-rickshaw and a truck in Panchabati area of Fatullah under Sadar Upazila of the district on Tuesday midnight.

The deceased was identified as Jahirul Islam, 40.

Fatullah Model Thana Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Wahiduzzaman told banglanews, “The auto-rickshaw collided head-on with a truck in the area at around 12:00am, leaving six people injured.”

Later, locals rushed them to local hospital where one  succumbed to his injuries.

Narayanganj Hospital Emmergency Department Dr Ahmed Ali confirmed the death news to banglanews.
