Bashundhara Group, he biggest industrial conglomerate in Bangladesh, has distributed the Holy Quran among 5,300 students across 37 educational institutions in Bancharampur of Brahmanbaria.
The distribution event took place on Monday (November 4) at the Bancharampur Upazila Parishad auditorium, with Bashundhara Group’s Advisor Moynal Hossain Chowdhury presiding over the ceremony.
Guests included Bashundhara Group Advisor (Media & Press) Mohammad Abu Tayeb; Principal of Bancharampur Sobhania Islamia Fazil (Degree) Madrasa Maulana Ruhul Amin Abdullah; Headmaster of Bancharampur Government SM Pilot Model High School Mohammad Atiqur Rahman; Bashundhara Foundation DGM Md Maymun Kabir; Director of Kaler Kantho Shuvosangho Zakaria Zaman; Head of Accounting at Bancharampur Government College Md. Chan Mia Sarkar; Bashundhara Foundation Deputy Manager Mosharraf Hossain; and Senior Officer Amir Hossain, among others.
Following a discussion session, the Holy Quran copies were handed over to students from 37 educational institutions attended the event.
Upon receiving the Quran, Tania Akter, a ninth-grader from Bancharampur Girls’ Pilot High School, said, “This is my first gift of the Holy Quran. I feel very happy.”
Sumon Mia, a student at Bancharampur Technical School and College, shared, “I am grateful for receiving the Holy Quran as a gift. Alhamdulillah.”
