Licensed pistol of Ex-Home Minister recovered in Dhaka

Police recovered a licensed pistol belonging to former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan from an abandoned location in the capital’s Monipuri area on Wednesday (Nov 6) afternoon.

Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Muhammad Talebur Rahman, confirmed the matter. 

"The licensed firearm of former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has been recovered. It was found abandoned by Tejgaon police," he said.

Police said that further legal procedures in this regard are currently underway.
