The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted that the weather across the country will remain dry for the next 24 hours starting this morning (Nov 18).
According to the BMD's bulletin, "The weather may stay dry with a partly cloudy sky at times."
A seasonal low-pressure area is positioned over the South Bay, with its trough extending towards the North Bay.
Night and day temperatures are likely to stay almost unchanged across the country.
Moderate to dense fog may form in the northern regions, while light to moderate fog could appear in other areas from late night to early morning.
On Sunday, the highest temperature recorded in the country was 32.0 degrees Celsius in Cox's Bazar and Sitakunda, while the lowest temperature today was 14.2 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga.
In the capital, sunset will be at 5:11 pm today, and sunrise is expected at 6:16 am tomorrow.
