The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted mainly dry weather with a temporary partly cloudy sky and no significant rainfall across the country for the next 24 hours, starting this morning.
A low-pressure area over the central parts of the south Bay of Bengal and its adjoining areas continues to persist, with its associated trough extending up to North Bay. Additionally, a ridge of sub-continental high pressure stretches up to West Bengal and surrounding regions.
Day and night temperatures may dip slightly across the country, and light to moderate fog is expected in various parts from midnight to morning.
On Tuesday, the highest temperature recorded in the country was 33.0°C in Cox's Bazar, while Tetulia recorded the lowest temperature at 08.8°C.
In Dhaka, the sun is expected to set at 5:16 PM today and rise again at 6:36 AM tomorrow.
